Technology

Novox® Fit is based on a technological process that has been researched and perfected by the Research and Development Department of MOSS. This process allows for optimizing oxygen enrichment within an oil matrix to give the medical device its technical characteristics, namely the constant and continuous release of reactive oxygen species (ROS).

Applications

  • Vascular and pressure ulcers
  • Ulcers due to neoplastic diseases
  • Ulcers and radiation therapy lesions
  • Ulcers, fistulas, wound cavities
  • Non-healed surgical wounds
  • Superficial, moderate, and deep burns
  • Surgical wounds
  • Traumatic injuries (e.g., abrasions, cuts, and lacerations)
  • Superficial lesions

Effects

  1. Novox® Fit can be used for the treatment of ulcerative or traumatic skin injuries. Its ability to create a favorable microenvironment promotes the activation of microcirculation, thereby facilitating the healing process.
  2. Novox® Fit forms a protective barrier and microenvironment that is unfavorable for the proliferation of pathogens, contributing to its antimicrobial properties.
  3. Due to its oily nature, Novox® Fit has a film-forming and soothing effect, complemented by the healing and reepithelializing properties of the oxygen-enriched oil.

Advantages

  • Free of active pharmacological substances and preservatives.
  • Does not induce antibiotic resistance.
  • Simplified application for injuries of the lower extremities (feet and legs).
  • Promotes exudate drainage and protects superficial lesions from adhesions.
  • Can be inserted into cavity wounds and removed with forceps.
  • Can be cut and shaped depending on the condition of the lesion.
  • If desired, can be used in combination with compression dressings.
  • Allows for atraumatic removal.
