NovoX® Cup is a medical disposable product designed to be placed directly on the injured skin and is internally coated with oxygen-enriched oil that releases reactive oxygen species (ROS). Application Method
Postoperative Care
The medical devices are used as postoperative dressings before the patient wakes up. They are applied directly to the surgical incisions.
The variety of shapes allows for the treatment of all scars following oncological, plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic breast surgeries. The dressing is supported by the brassiere, which is also applied at the end of the surgery. Changing the dressing is recommended every 24/48 hours.
Home Treatment
After discharge, the patient can change the dressing directly at home during the first 2 weeks or longer, as decided by the doctor. The dressing is always applied directly to the skin and supported by the brassiere. Changing the dressing is recommended every 48 hours.
Dressing Change
- Wash and disinfect your hands thoroughly or wear disposable gloves.
Clean the scar (or lesion) with physiological saline solution. - Dry with sterile gauze.
- Open the package.
- Place the cup directly on the chest.
- Wear the brassiere in a way that holds the cups in their position.
- Ensure that the cups are well-fitted to the chest, with the bottom of the cups protruding from the lower edge of the brassiere.
Effects
- Novox® Cup has a film-forming effect, contrasts microbial contamination, and prevents the contamination of the injury/wound by pathogens.
- Novox® Cup promotes the healing of postoperative scars and chronic skin lesions by creating a favorable microenvironment to optimize skin microcirculation.
- Novox® Cup has a soothing effect.
- Novox® Cup acts on the local microenvironment of the lesion to activate granulation tissue and promote the subsequent reepithelialization of acute and chronic lesions.
